The Front Desk Agent plays a crucial role in delivering exceptional guest experiences at Four Seasons Resort & Residences Whistler. As a key member of our dynamic team, you will welcome and register hotel guests, explain accommodations, and establish payment methods. Your primary responsibilities include checking guests in efficiently and friendly manner, using the guest's name according to our recognition standards, and ensuring that guests are assigned the type of room requested and charged the correct rate.
In addition to your duties, you will also be responsible for issuing correct room keys after room inspection, arranging for luggage delivery when the room is ready, checking out guests, assessing satisfaction, collecting keys, posting charges, and presenting accurate bills for settlement. You will maintain a balanced bank, handle foreign currency exchange with assigned petty cash, and reconcile transactions at each shift's end. Furthermore, you will handle all guest interactions with high hospitality and professionalism, accommodating special requests, resolving guest complaints, and assisting with inquiries about hotel services, operations, personnel, events, and directions.
To excel in this role, you should possess excellent communication skills, both written and oral. A strong command of the English language is required, as well as great attention to detail and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Previous experience with Opera PMS is preferred, but not mandatory. We offer a competitive salary range of $21.50 - $23.00 per hour, access to affordable shared staff accommodation, meal perks, paid time off, excellent training and development program, and opportunities for growth and advancement within the company.
