We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Kitchen Manager to join our team at Taj Grace Of India. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for the smooth operation of our restaurant's kitchen, ensuring that our high standards of quality and service are maintained.


Salary: $55,000 - $65,000 per year


The successful candidate will have a strong background in culinary arts, with experience in managing kitchen teams and overseeing food preparation and presentation. You will be responsible for maintaining high levels of food safety and hygiene, as well as ensuring that all kitchen staff are trained and equipped to deliver exceptional customer service.


Job Description:



  • Food Preparation and Presentation: Supervise and co-ordinate the preparation and presentation of meals, ensuring that they meet our high standards of quality and presentation.
  • Kitchen Team Management: Manage a team of chefs and kitchen staff, providing guidance and support to ensure that they are working efficiently and effectively.
  • Food Safety and Hygiene: Maintain high levels of food safety and hygiene in the kitchen, adhering to all relevant regulations and guidelines.
  • Staff Training and Development: Train and develop kitchen staff, providing them with the skills and knowledge they need to deliver exceptional customer service.
  • Scheduling and Operations: Oversee the scheduling of kitchen staff, ensuring that the kitchen is fully staffed during peak periods.
  • Purchasing and Inventory: Manage the purchasing and inventory of food and kitchen supplies, ensuring that we have sufficient stock to meet demand.
  • Quality Control: Monitor and maintain high levels of quality control in the kitchen, ensuring that all food meets our high standards.

Required Skills and Qualifications:



  • Culinary Arts Diploma: Hold a diploma or certificate in culinary arts, with a minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Leadership and Management: Have excellent leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and guide a team of staff.
  • Food Safety and Hygiene: Hold a valid food safety and hygiene certification, with a strong understanding of relevant regulations and guidelines.
  • Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with staff, customers, and suppliers.
