We are a leading catering company dedicated to providing exceptional food and service to our clients. We are seeking an experienced Food and Beverage Service Manager to join our team.

Job Summary:

The Food and Beverage Service Manager will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our kitchen and front-of-house staff. This includes supervising and coordinating activities, estimating ingredient and supply requirements, and ensuring that food and service meet quality control standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and Coordinate Staff: Lead and manage a team of chefs, cooks, and servers to ensure efficient and high-quality service.
  • Estimate Ingredients and Supplies: Calculate and order ingredients and supplies necessary for meal preparation to maintain inventory levels.
  • Maintain Quality Control: Ensure that food meets quality standards by implementing proper handling, storage, and preparation procedures.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage to inform purchasing decisions.
  • Reporting: Prepare and submit regular reports on kitchen operations, sales, and inventory management.
  • Scheduling: Establish work schedules to ensure adequate staffing during peak periods.
  • Work Term: Permanent position with 35-40 hours of work per week.
  • Language: English is the primary language used in this role.

Requirements:

To be successful as a Food and Beverage Service Manager, you should have:

  • Secondary (High) School Graduation Certificate;
  • 1-2 years of experience in a similar role;
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills;
  • Ability to work under pressure and maintain quality standards;
  • Familiarity with kitchen operations and inventory management systems.

Compensation:

The estimated annual salary for this position is $55,000-$65,000 based on industry standards and location.
