The Huron Perth Healthcare Alliance is seeking a highly skilled Decision Support Assistant to join their team in Stratford. This full-time position offers a competitive salary of $30.98 to $34.42 per hour.

About the Role

This role involves providing critical support to the Decision Support Team, analyzing and reporting on health information and clinical data. The successful candidate will be responsible for evaluating data through various tools, identifying key trends and priorities, and presenting findings in a clear and concise manner.

Key Responsibilities
  • Analyze and evaluate health information and clinical data to inform internal and external reporting requirements
  • Support the Wait Time Coordinator for both the Surgical Access to Care Program and the Medical Imaging Program
  • Assist in generating required information for standardized reporting of dashboards
  • Maintain accurate records and perform data quality checks
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must have:

  • A Health Administration or Health Information Degree or Diploma from a recognized College or University
  • Decision support experience; hospital or physician's office, health records experience or equivalent years of experience in a healthcare setting
  • Strong analytical skills and solid mathematical background
  • Ability to prioritize and complete multiple deliverables simultaneously
  • Mature, flexible, organized and self-directed
