Highly Skilled RPN Wanted for Long Term and Acute Care

We are currently looking for highly professional, experienced Registered Practical Nurses (RPNs) to work in a variety of long term and acute care facilities in the Brantford area.
This opportunity allows you to earn above-average wages with travel compensation and accommodation. The estimated annual salary is $80,000 - $120,000 based on experience and qualifications.
Job DescriptionThe successful candidate will provide nursing care in accordance with established policy, physician's orders, the resident plan of care, and within the scope of practice of an RPN.
- Provide timely and accessible admissions for residents, including comprehensive orientation to the home and services offered.
- Ensure safe resident transfers and discharges.
- Manage drug supplies, control, and safekeeping, ensuring protocols are followed on all assigned shifts.
Responsibilities also include assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care to meet physical, psychological, emotional, spiritual, cultural, and social needs of residents.
RequirementsThe ideal candidate will have:
- Active registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario.
- Able to work with persons with Infectious Diseases.
- BLS Certificate.
- Valid First Aid & CPR.
- Proof of current immunizations for Measles, Mumps, Rubella, and Varicella (MMRV), as well as Hepatitis B.
- Current Vulnerable Sector Police Check.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Well-developed interpersonal and communication skills.
- Flexibility to work 8-12 hour shifts, including evenings, overnights, and weekends.
- Ability to float between units as needed.
