At PSG Environmental Inc., we are seeking an experienced Demolition Foreman/Woman to join our team.

Job Overview

We offer a competitive salary of $**65,000 - 80,000 per year**, depending on experience, for this key role in our demolition department.

The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing demolition projects from start to finish, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality and safety.

Responsibilities
  • Estimate costs and materials: Plan and manage budgets for each project, taking into account materials, labor, and equipment costs.
  • Oversee apprenticeship training: Mentor and train junior staff members in demolition techniques and best practices.
  • Prepare production and other reports: Compile and analyze data on project progress, including time spent on tasks, resources used, and any issues encountered.
  • Recruit and hire workers: Identify and select skilled staff to work on our projects, adhering to company hiring procedures and protocols.
  • Co-ordinate and schedule activities: Plan and organize the work schedule for each project, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
  • Co-ordinate work activities with other project supervisors or managers: Collaborate with colleagues across different departments to ensure seamless execution of projects.
  • Establish methods to meet work schedules: Develop and implement strategies to meet project deadlines and milestones.
  • Read blueprints and drawings: Interpret technical documentation to understand project requirements and scope.
  • Supervise workers and projects: Lead and direct teams of workers on site, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times.
