The Role

We are seeking an experienced Cybersecurity Expert to join our team as a Threat-Led Penetration Tester and Red Teamer. In this role, you will be responsible for simulating sophisticated cyber-attacks on various platforms, including web, network, mobile, and cloud environments.

Your mission will be to identify and exploit vulnerabilities in systems, software, and network infrastructures, providing actionable recommendations for remediation. You will work closely with our team to develop and utilize custom tools and scripts for effective penetration testing and threat simulation.

As a seasoned professional, you will prepare comprehensive reports and presentations for clients, detailing security vulnerabilities, attack methodologies, and recommended countermeasures. Your expertise will be crucial in maintaining up-to-date knowledge of current security trends, emerging threats, and advanced testing methodologies.

You will collaborate with other experts within Kyndryl Offensive Security to enhance knowledge sharing and develop state-of-the-art security testing practices. Additionally, you will engage in research to uncover new threats and vulnerabilities, particularly in emerging technological domains.

Assisting in the creation and delivery of advanced security training programs for clients will also be part of your responsibilities. Key Responsibilities:

1. Conduct Threat-Led Penetration Testing (TLPT) and Red Teaming operations across a variety of platforms.
2. Simulate sophisticated cyber-attacks to identify and exploit vulnerabilities in systems, software, and network infrastructures.
3. Develop and utilize custom tools and scripts for effective penetration testing and threat simulation.
4. Prepare comprehensive reports and presentations for clients, detailing security vulnerabilities, attack methodologies, and recommended countermeasures.
5. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of current security trends, emerging threats, and advanced testing methodologies.
6. Collaborate with other experts within Kyndryl Offensive Security to enhance knowledge sharing and develop state-of-the-art security testing practices.
7. Engage in research to uncover new threats and vulnerabilities, particularly in emerging technological domains.
8. Assist in the creation and delivery of advanced security training programs for clients.

About the Opportunity

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related fields.
• Proven track record in penetration testing, TLPT, and Red Teaming, with CTF participation a strong plus.
• Extensive knowledge in network protocols, cryptography, web and application security, and advanced attack vectors.
• Experience with a range of penetration testing tools and frameworks (e.g., Metasploit, Burp Suite, OWASP).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, coupled with innovative thinking.
• Excellent communication skills, able to articulate complex security issues to a diverse audience.
• Self-driven with the ability to work independently and as part of a global team.

Preferred Skills and Experience

• Active participation in CTF challenges like Hack The Box, DEF CON CTF, and others, demonstrating practical and competitive cybersecurity skills.
