Job Summary
UBC Department of Radiology and TRIUMF Life Sciences Division collaborate with BC Cancer Research Centre to develop radiopharmaceuticals using emerging radioisotopes. This project leverages TRIUMF's unique infrastructure, expertise, and partnerships to access promising radionuclides and advance radiopharmaceuticals to preclinical and clinical use.

The postdoctoral fellow will drive the effort to study the toxicity and therapeutic effect of novel radiopharmaceuticals developed in this project.

Work Performed:
• Develop a novel Ac-225 based radiopharmaceutical: prepare preclinical study protocols, carry out bio-distribution, toxicity, and therapy monitoring studies.
• Represent the project at conference symposia and publish study data in peer-reviewed literature.

Qualifications:
A Ph.D. in Biology, Chemistry, Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, or an equivalent field of research is required. Intimate knowledge and hands-on experience with cell culture, tumour inoculation, and rodent care are essential. Strong communication and coordination skills are also highly valued.

Salary and Benefits:
We offer a competitive salary range of $80,000-$110,000 per annum, commensurate with experience. The University provides an excellent benefits package, including extended health and dental coverage, retirement savings plan, and other perks.
