About the Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Strategic Development Manager to join our team at The Institute for Performance and Learning. As a key member of our Advancement department, you will play a critical role in developing and implementing strategies to promote annual and leadership giving from alumni, faculty, staff, and friends.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with senior leadership to develop and implement fundraising programs and campaigns.
  • Build on existing relationships and establish new ones with donors, alumni, and other stakeholders.
  • Develop and manage budgets, financial reports, and other administrative tasks related to fundraising efforts.
  • Provide exceptional customer service and support to donors, volunteers, and internal stakeholders.
Requirements
  • A University degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Minimum eight (8) years recent and related experience working on all aspects of annual and leadership giving campaign planning and execution.
  • Deep familiarity with advancement processes in a university or not-for-profit environment.
  • Experience working with senior leadership and managing teams.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and project management skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team.
