We are seeking a highly skilled Learning Experience Designer to join our team at Forward Education, where you will play a pivotal role in empowering educators and students to drive positive change through technology and environmental education.

The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of experience in teaching, training, or a similar field, with a strong background in instructional design, adult learning principles, and educational technology.

As a Learning Experience Designer, you will work closely with our Product & Education team to design and deliver impactful professional development programs for K-12 educators, leveraging cutting-edge tools like micro:bit, MakeCode, and the Climate Action Kit.

You will be responsible for creating engaging learning experiences that enable educators to seamlessly integrate these technologies into their teaching practices, ultimately inspiring students to become the next generation of climate leaders.

In this role, you can expect:

  • To design and deliver comprehensive professional development programs for K-12 educators
  • To apply instructional design principles to develop a variety of impactful learning solutions
  • To ensure all content meets quality standards, including AODA requirements
  • To facilitate hands-on training sessions on the BBC micro:bit, MakeCode, and the Climate Action Kit
  • To collect feedback, conduct assessments, and make recommendations to improve the quality of our PD initiatives
