We are seeking a highly skilled Business Development Associate to join our dynamic team at Royal Bank of Canada. In this role, you will play a crucial part in driving business growth and delivering exceptional client experiences.

About the Role

As a Business Development Associate, you will provide administrative support to our successful Advisory Team, ensuring seamless execution of their activities. Your primary responsibility will be to deepen relationships with existing clients through proactive client service and efficient support.

Your duties will include:

  • Coordinating meetings for Advisors with clients and prospects;
  • Providing top-notch client service with a focus on problem resolution and attention to detail;
  • Liaising with various departments for execution where necessary;
  • Responding to client inquiries regarding account transactions, tax receipts, account reporting, and other matters;
  • Assisting the Advisor team with client onboarding and account management;
  • Maintaining accurate and timely updates of all necessary documentation in compliance with internal controls and industry regulatory requirements;
  • Ensuring complete and up-to-date client files within appropriate systems;

In addition, you will help update team communication channels, including websites, LinkedIn, Facebook, brochures, and newsletters.

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you must possess:

  • A Canadian Securities Course (CSC) certification;
  • Strong Microsoft Office Suite skills;
  • A high level of time management and organization skills;
  • Demonstrated skills in providing world-class client service that is professional, warm, and friendly;
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills in English;

Prior experience in the securities industry is an asset, as well as knowledge of RBC Dominion Securities' systems and procedures.

Estimated Salary

The estimated annual salary for this position is $60,000 - $80,000 CAD, based on location and relevant experience.
