About the Role

The software engineer position at Kora is a highly entrepreneurial role that offers the opportunity to participate in the design, development, and optimization of various Fintech products using the latest technologies.

You will work closely with the Product, Marketing, and Growth teams to improve acquisition and onboarding strategies for new users, as well as ensure that existing users remain engaged with various features.

Apart from your work as a developer, you will also have high levels of exposure into the daily operations, business strategy, and other aspects of the business.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and optimize Kora's mobile & web apps and backend microservices.
  • Participate in restructuring Kora's next-generation software architecture and tech stack.
  • Design and develop Kora's next-generation products.
  • Work on a cross-functional team of engineers, designers, and product managers.
  • Build complex and scalable solutions.
  • Manage integrations with 3rd party vendor API.
About You

We are looking for a skilled engineer with years of development experience and a strong entrepreneurial spirit.

The ideal candidate should possess excellent analytical and communication skills, be proficient in React, TypeScript, Git, SQL, and have a good understanding of UI/UX designs.
