About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Healthcare Support Worker to join our team at 1244056 BC LTD. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and support.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide personal care and support to patients, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
  • Assist patients with daily living activities, such as feeding, toileting, and mobility.
  • Monitor patients' vital signs, including blood pressure, temperature, and pulse.
  • Administer first aid in emergency situations and provide basic life support.
  • Maintain a safe and clean environment for patients, including making beds and maintaining patient rooms.
  • Transport patients between care facilities and provide wheelchair or stretcher assistance as needed.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure seamless care.
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a healthcare setting.
  • First Aid Certificate and CPR Certificate.
  • Criminal record check.
