Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Housekeeping Supervisor to join our team at Best Western Plus Merritt Hotel. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and safety of our facilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and Coordinate Activities: Oversee the work of housekeeping staff to ensure efficient and effective cleaning of guest rooms and public areas.
  • Inspect Sites and Facilities: Conduct regular inspections to identify areas for improvement and ensure compliance with safety and cleanliness standards.
  • Recommend Additional Services: Identify and recommend additional services required to maintain the high standards of our facilities, such as painting, repair work, or replacement of furnishings and equipment.
  • Assist Cleaners: Provide support to housekeeping staff as needed to ensure the smooth operation of our cleaning services.
  • Coordinate Work Activities: Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless communication and coordination of work activities.
  • Establish Work Schedules: Develop and implement work schedules to ensure adequate coverage and efficient use of resources.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent.
  • Experience: Will train or equivalent experience.
Work Environment

This is a permanent position with a regular schedule of 35 to 40 hours per week. The work language is English.
