Overview

At First Onsite, we're seeking a highly skilled Construction Project Manager to oversee commercial construction projects in the disaster property restoration industry. This role offers an exciting opportunity to leverage your expertise in project scheduling, crew management, and quality control.

About the Job

We estimate the annual salary for this position to be around $70,000-$90,000 CAD, depending on experience.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of experience in a supervisory or foreman role within the restoration, emergency, or related industry. A strong understanding of reconstruction practices for properties affected by water, wind, mold, fire, and vandalism damage is essential.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage multiple sites, ensuring efficient project execution and timely completion
  • Coordinate activities, resources, and equipment to meet project requirements
  • Maintain accurate records, including project schedules, timesheets, and invoices
  • Monitor team efficiency, provide guidance, and address any performance issues
  • Collaborate with Operations Manager to achieve business objectives and maintain high-quality standards
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Strong knowledge of emergency mitigation and restoration processes, project scheduling, and lead water damage technician experience
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a supervisory/foreman role within the restoration, emergency, or related industry
  • In-depth understanding of Canadian building codes and related electrical, plumbing, or mechanical regulations
  • Proficiency in Word, Excel, and Outlook; knowledge of Xactimate is an asset
  • Basic accounting skills, including invoicing, billing, and general math
