We are seeking a highly skilled Manufacturing and Operations Lead to join our team at Unilever Canada.

Job Description

The Manufacturing and Operations Lead will be responsible for leading the production of our Rexdale Dressings portfolio. This position plays a key role in driving continuous improvement in Safety, Quality, Output, and Costs through Unilever Manufacturing system standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead a motivated team of Manufacturing and Maintenance personnel
  • Manage all key business metrics for the site in the absence of the Factory Manager
  • Ensure compliance with Safety, Health, Environment, and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) requirements
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve productivity and efficiency
  • Liaise with all key stakeholders to ensure full alignment with production schedule and key production milestones
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field
  • Minimum 5 years manufacturing experience
  • Fully understand and enforce Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs)
  • Experience working within a unionized site
  • Familiarity with HACCP principles and implementation
  • Ability to effectively manage conflict and create an inclusive work environment
What We Offer

In return for your hard work and dedication, we offer a competitive salary range of $100,000 - $120,000 per year, based on experience.
