Retail Store Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Retail Store Supervisor to join our team at Basharat & Shafaat Brothers Inc. As a key member of our retail team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our retail store, ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and that our store runs smoothly and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities- Supervise and Manage Staff: Lead and motivate a team of sales staff, providing guidance and support to ensure they meet their sales targets and provide excellent customer service.
- Assign Sales Tasks: Allocate sales tasks and duties to staff members, ensuring that the store is fully staffed and that customers receive prompt and efficient service.
- Hire and Train Staff: Recruit, train, and develop new staff members, ensuring that they have the skills and knowledge required to succeed in their roles.
- Authorize Payments and Returns: Authorize payments by cheque and returns of merchandise, ensuring that all transactions are processed accurately and efficiently.
- Establish Work Schedules: Create and manage work schedules for staff members, ensuring that the store is fully staffed during peak periods.
- Sell Merchandise: Sell merchandise to customers, providing excellent customer service and ensuring that customers are satisfied with their purchases.
- Prepare Sales Reports: Prepare sales reports, analyzing sales data and identifying trends and opportunities for growth.
- Resolve Customer Issues: Resolve customer complaints and issues, ensuring that customers are satisfied with their experience.
- Manage Inventory: Manage and maintain inventory levels, ensuring that the store is fully stocked and that customers can find what they need.
- Supervise and Coordinate Activities: Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff members, ensuring that the store runs smoothly and efficiently.
- Manage Cash: Manage cash and credit transactions, ensuring that all transactions are processed accurately and efficiently.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a retail environment.
- Work Setting: Retail business.
- Area of Specialization: Retail store.
- Security and Safety: Bondable.
- Transportation/Travel Information: Own transportation.
- Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Work under pressure, attention to detail, combination of sitting, standing, walking.
- Personal Suitability: Team player, work term: permanent, work language: English, hours: 35 hours per week.
