At Royal Bank of Canada, we're committed to protecting our clients' and employees' sensitive information by identifying and mitigating vulnerabilities across various platforms. We're seeking a highly skilled Vulnerability Management Scanning Engineer to join our team.

Role Overview

This is a full-time position that involves leading the efforts in implementing and supporting scanning capabilities across IoT devices, cloud environments, and on-premise systems. The ideal candidate will have expertise in vulnerability management, IoT, Cloud, and on-premise scanning technologies, as well as strong knowledge of network security, authentication, and authorization.

Responsibilities
  • Participate in the full lifecycle of vulnerability management, from initial assessment to mitigation.
  • Be a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in vulnerability scanning tools and processes across IoT, Cloud, and on-premise environments.
  • Provide guidance during implementation on issues such as performance, scalability, reliability, and security.
  • Collaborate with various teams to define and achieve deliverables and ensure initiatives are effectively integrated into procedures and processes.
Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience in vulnerability scanning with strong knowledge in IoT, Cloud, and on-premise environments.
  • Experience with cloud security and vulnerability management.
  • Expertise in vulnerability scanning tools and technologies like Tenable, Aqua, Armis, Nessus, Qualys, OpenVAS, etc.
  • Knowledge of network security, authentication, and authorization.
