Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Food Service Counter Attendant to join our team at Sweet Harbour Toy & Candy Co. Ltd. As a Food Service Counter Attendant, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, maintaining a clean and safe food service environment, and ensuring that all food and beverages are prepared and served to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Cleanliness and Sanitation: Clean and sanitize all food service equipment, utensils, and work surfaces to maintain a high level of hygiene and safety.
  • Food Preparation and Service: Prepare and serve food and beverages to customers in a timely and efficient manner, ensuring that all orders are accurate and complete.
  • Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service, responding to customer inquiries and resolving any issues in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Inventory Management: Receive, unpack, and store supplies, including food, beverages, and cleaning products, in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Waste Management: Remove and dispose of trash and recyclables in a responsible and environmentally friendly manner.
  • Teamwork: Work collaboratively with other team members to maintain a clean and safe food service environment, and to ensure that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
Requirements
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma is required for this position.
  • Experience: Experience is an asset, but not required.
  • Physical Demands: This position requires standing for extended periods, lifting up to 13.5 kg (30 lbs), and repetitive tasks.
  • Language: English is the primary language spoken in this workplace.
  • Work Schedule: 40 hours per week.
Work Environment

This is a fast-paced environment with physically demanding tasks. The ideal candidate will be able to work in a team environment, provide exceptional customer service, and maintain a clean and safe food service environment.
