About the Role

At pt Health, we are seeking a highly skilled Senior Medical Report Quality Assurance Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and quality of medical reports, while providing exceptional customer service to our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review and evaluate medical assessment reports to ensure continuity, consistency, accuracy, spelling, grammar, and compliance with current regulations.
  • Conduct thorough quality assurance checks on medical documentation, including medical histories, diagnostic test results, and treatment plans.
  • Identify discrepancies, errors, or inconsistencies in medical assessments and provide timely feedback to assessors for correction.
  • Collaborate with assessors to address quality issues and implement corrective actions.
  • Provide training and support to assessors on quality assurance procedures and documentation requirements.
  • Evaluate report timelines to ensure accurate recording and timely follow-up.
  • Maintain open communication with clients regarding report discrepancies and resolutions.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments, regulations, and best practices to enhance quality assurance processes.

Requirements:

  • A regulated health professional with at least 3 years' experience as a Kinesiologist, Physiotherapist, or Nurse.
  • 1-2 years work experience in a medical clinic, hospital, or insurance office.
  • Action-oriented, highly organized, results-driven, independent problem-solver with demonstrated clinical, medical legal assessment, and/or adjudication experience.
  • Detailed familiarity with current and prior auto insurance legislation, arbitration, and associated legal decisions.
  • Solid command of the English language and excellent communication skills.
  • Working knowledge of MS Word and Excel, with the ability to learn new systems.
  • Flexible and team-oriented mindset.

Estimated Salary Range: $65,000 - $85,000 per year, depending on qualifications and experience. pt Health offers a competitive compensation package, opportunities for growth and development, and a collaborative work environment.
