Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Procurement Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, be able to work independently, and have a strong understanding of procurement processes.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Purchasing general and specialized equipment, materials or business services.
  • Assessing the requirements of an establishment to develop specifications for equipment, materials and supplies to be purchased.
  • Developing specifications for equipment, materials and supplies to be purchased.
  • Consulting with suppliers.
  • Reviewing quotations.
  • Determining contract terms and conditions.
  • Establishing delivery schedules.
  • Monitoring the progress of delivery schedules.
  • Contacting clients and suppliers to resolve problems.
  • Planning, organizing and overseeing operational logistics of the organization.
  • Providing customer service.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Bachelor's degree.
  • At least 1 year of experience in a related field.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Familiarity with MS Office applications, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
