Shift Manager

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Shift Manager to join our team at Dairy Queen. As a Shift Manager, you will be responsible for leading a team of food service staff and ensuring that our customers receive excellent service and high-quality food.
Key Responsibilities:- Team Leadership: Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures, and establish methods to meet work schedules.
- Customer Service: Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards, address customers' complaints or concerns, and serve customers at counters or buffet tables.
- Operations: Prepare budget and cost estimates, maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage, and prepare and submit reports.
- Staff Management: Hire food service staff, establish work schedules, and maintain a fast-paced environment.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a fast-paced food service environment.
- Certifications: First Aid Certificate and Safe Food Handling certificate.
Our store is a fast-paced environment with a focus on excellent customer service. You will be standing for extended periods and working in a team environment.
