EBC Inc. is a leading company in the construction industry, renowned for its expertise in major infrastructure projects. As a Senior Project Development Manager, you will be responsible for driving project development and ensuring successful outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement division development plans to target specific projects.
  • Establish priorities for targeted projects in collaboration with the Vice President, partners, and consultants.
  • Organize meetings with clients, partners, consultants, and subcontractors to facilitate communication and coordination.
  • Prepare and present Green sheets outlining project targeting and quarterly reports on pipeline projects.
  • Prioritize and manage tasks to meet deadlines and deliver high-quality results.
Prequalification Process:
  • Participate in identifying and selecting projects for prequalification.
  • Ensure all necessary partnership agreements are prepared and submitted with precision and timeliness.
  • Assemble and supervise a qualified team to ensure a thorough qualification process.
Proposal Preparation:
  • Prepare or supervise all documents required for partnership agreements and contract negotiations.
  • Coordinate activities surrounding proposal preparation, including staff availability and partnership management.
  • Attend partnership coordination meetings and client meetings to ensure effective communication.
Project Support:
  • Transfer project files to operations and support the project team during transition periods.
  • Ensure all agreements, including contracts, partnership agreements, and financing, are finalized properly.
Requirements:
  • A University Degree/Technology Diploma in Engineering or a combination of education and industry experience.
  • 10+ years of experience in the construction industry, preferably with a mix of contractor, designer, and client experience.
  • Civil construction experience specifically related to heavy civil, excavation, tunneling, wind farm, utilities, underground works, deep shafts, ground stabilization, metro, and rail work.
  • A proven track record of project success and team leadership.
  • Good knowledge of geology and geotechnical principles.
  • Strong experience delivering large-scale projects within a partnership environment.
  • Experience with alternative delivery mode projects (Design Build, P3).
  • Strong financial management skills, building codes, and associated legislation.
  • Advanced skills in management, negotiation, communication, and problem-solving.
  • Proficiency in English language with excellent communication skills (written and verbal).
