Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Supply Chain Coordinator to join our team at RONA Inc. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining an optimal level of inventory for product categories and stores under their responsibility.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure the optimal supply of products according to the needs of stores and distribution centers, using various tools and software.
  • Follow up on orders (regular, promotional, and marketing) directly with suppliers, ensuring all commercial conditions are respected.
  • Ensure the replenishment of products taking into account the reception, storage, and rotation capacities of each distribution center and store.
  • Communicate supplier delivery delays to internal customers and stakeholders.
  • Contribute to the achievement of stock position, inventory budgets, service rate, and store/distribution center turnover objectives.
  • Evaluate supplier service and delivery time performance for stores.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in operations management or a related field.
  • 2-5 years' related experience, preferably in operations management or supply chain.
  • Proficiency with computer tools such as MS Excel and databases.
  • Certification APICS, Six Sigma, or other (an asset).
  • Good knowledge of JDA (an asset).
  • Analytical skills.
  • Well-developed business acumen and sense of urgency.
  • Ability to communicate effectively and work as part of a team.
  • Good judgment and decision-making skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and changing environment.
