Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Master Metal Molder to join our team at Standard Brass & Aluminum Foundry Ltd.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for creating high-quality metal castings using various casting machines and techniques.

This is a physically demanding role that requires strong manual dexterity, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Mold and cast metal products using patterns, moulding boxes, sand, and hand tools.
  • Operate furnaces, ovens, and other equipment to melt and shape metals.
  • Set up and adjust casting machines to ensure precise control over the casting process.
  • Hand-ladle molten metal into moulds to produce castings.
  • Maintain a safe and clean working environment, adhering to all health and safety protocols.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A minimum of 7 months' experience in a foundry or related industry.
  • Strong physical abilities, including manual dexterity and endurance.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Familiarity with casting machines and techniques.
