Fabrication Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Fabrication Specialist to join our team at MacDougall Steel Erectors Inc. This role will involve working with our expert engineers and fabricators to design, build, and install complex steel structures.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in welding and metal fabrication, with experience working with heavy machinery and equipment. They will be responsible for interpreting blueprints and specifications, operating manual and automated welding equipment, and ensuring that all welds meet high standards of quality and safety.

In addition to their technical skills, the ideal candidate will possess excellent problem-solving abilities, be highly organized, and have strong communication skills. They will also be able to work independently and as part of a team, and be willing to learn new skills and techniques.

This is a full-time position, and the salary range is estimated to be between $65,000 and $90,000 per year, depending on experience. The company offers a comprehensive benefits package, including health and dental insurance, retirement savings plan, and paid vacation time.

• Post-secondary certificate or diploma in welding or metal fabrication, or equivalent experience
• Minimum 2 years of experience working in a similar role
• Strong knowledge of welding processes, materials, and equipment

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
