Amazon Technical Leadership Manager for Reporting Experiences

At the intersection of eCommerce and advertising, Amazon Advertising offers a wide array of digital display advertising solutions to help customers find and discover products. We assist various advertisers in reaching Amazon customers across different platforms. Our goal is to start with the customer and work backwards in everything we do, including advertising.
About our team:
The Scaled Marketing Initiatives team addresses the needs of large-scale marketing clients. These include Amazon Ads partners, such as agencies and solution providers, and major brands. To cater to these clients, we provide easy data access, analytics, and scaled campaign management. This enables improved ROI for our advertising clients and reduces their costs associated with working with Amazon. Key initiatives include Amazon Marketing Stream, Rapid Retail Analytics, and Bulk operations. We continuously experiment with new startup projects to meet our evolving client needs.
About this role:
As the Principal TPM for Reporting Experiences, you will oversee the technical plan and roadmap for Reporting Engines and APIs. You will also lead cross-organizational programs aimed at streamlining reporting processes and removing it as a bottleneck for business. Your technical expertise and sound judgment will enable you to manage reporting contracts and SLAs effectively. You will directly collaborate with senior leaders/execs across Amazon Ads, influencing their priorities and roadmaps.
This critical role ensures the operational health of the program. You will define key metrics, monitor them, and implement necessary improvements. You will own program-level updates and communication to executive leadership. In collaboration with Product and Engineering leaders, you will dive deep into understanding customer needs and software architecture. You will be responsible for writing structured narratives, documents, and communication succinctly, leveraging tooling, and establishing execution cadence.
Experience in managing complex technology projects, owning roadmap strategy, and designing new systems is essential. Additionally, successful candidates will have experience working directly with engineering teams, managing programs across cross-functional teams, and building sustainable processes.
The estimated salary range for this position is $175,000 - $250,000 annually, based on national averages and considering industry standards. Amazon Development Centre Canada ULC - K03 offers competitive compensation and benefits packages to its employees.
