Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled Flat Roofer to join our team at Provincial Roofing. As a key member of our crew, you will be responsible for installing and repairing various types of roofing systems.

About the Job:

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in flat roofing, with experience working on built-up roofing systems, single-ply roofing, and metal roofs.

They will also possess excellent physical abilities, including the capacity to lift heavy loads (up to 23 kg/50 lbs) and work in fast-paced environments.

In addition to their technical skills, the successful applicant will have excellent communication skills, be dependable, and possess a team player mentality.

Responsibilities:
  • Install built-up roofing systems using materials such as asphalt saturated felts and hot asphalt and gravel
  • Install or replace asphalt shingles, wood shingles and shakes and masonry or baked clay roofing tiles on sloped roofs of buildings
  • Install single-ply roofing system using waterproof sheet materials, such as modified plastics, elastomeric or other asphaltic compositions
  • Apply waterproof coatings to concrete or other masonry surfaces below or above ground level
  • Install and repair metal roofs using hand and power tools
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 3 years to less than 5 years of experience
  • Availability to work at heights and outdoors
  • Commercial and residential work experience
Benefits:

We offer a competitive salary range of $55,000-$70,000 per year, depending on experience, as well as opportunities for professional growth and development.
