Transportation Sales Manager

The Role
Connectrans, a division of the Kenan Advantage Group and KAG Logistics, is a recognized leader in North American transportation. We are expanding our current Sales team to meet our growth demands.
Our ideal candidate is an industry-experienced cross-border TL and LTL freight sales professional who is highly motivated and driven by the opportunity to achieve career and financial success.
They will lead initiatives to generate and engage with business partners to successfully onboard new and incremental business for the company.
Responsibilities
- Identify, capitalize, and convert customer partnership opportunities
- Deliver an exceptional Customer Experience
- Implement strategic business development growth plans to support existing customers
- Conduct cold calls to ensure a robust pipeline of opportunities
- Meet potential clients by growing, maintaining, and leveraging your network
- Collaborate with the Operations team to ensure the customer's expectations are met and exceeded
Required Qualifications, Skills and Abilities
- Completed Bachelor's degree or equivalent
- 3+ years prior transportation management sales experience in the cross-border arena
- Hunter/Attainer mentality and a constant pursuit of new markets and business expansion opportunities
- Proven success selling within the non-asset, 3PL domestic, cross-border, and US marketplace in the transportation management industry
- Experience in the preparation and negotiation of bids, RFQ's & quotations with customers
- Proven track record of exceeding personal sales targets and ability to build strong relationships with top-level stakeholders
