We are seeking an experienced Lead UI/UX Designer to join our team at Targeted Talent. As a key member of our design leadership community, you will be responsible for driving the design strategy for multiple teams and departments.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the design strategy for multiple teams and departments
  • Work with key stakeholders to identify and analyze opportunities to improve our products
  • Ensure a healthy pipeline of mid-longer term initiatives that will help drive future innovation
  • Work effectively in an agile environment to deliver product increments and ensure that requirements are met
  • Measure and monitor design quality after releases
  • Participate in the design leadership community to help drive best practices across the design community
  • Participate in the recruitment within the design discipline
  • Coach and mentor designers
Requirements:
  • Minimum 5+ years in a senior or design/UX leadership position
  • Experience mentoring and coaching designers in design practices
  • Experience with line management of 1-2 designers
  • Experience delivering a design vision or strategy which has shaped the roadmap of multiple teams
  • Experience creating high quality UX&D work across large scale projects
  • Understanding of the business value we are solving for our users
  • Experience making user-led decisions, and is comfortable working with user insights e.g. from user research of quantitative insights, data, ethnography
  • Experience setting clear goals, deadlines and key milestones for design discovery, and tracking progress against these successfully
