Your Role
You'll be responsible for making keys and changing lock combinations, including preparing master keys from code. You'll provide immediate response to client requests to open locked doors, disassemble locks to repair and replace parts, install security lock systems, key control systems, window bars, deadlocks, and keyless entry locks. Your skills will also include designing master key systems, implementing preventive maintenance and corrective maintenance plans for specialized locks and other related equipment, and responding to service requests in a timely manner while maintaining good client relations.
What We're Looking For
To excel in this role, you'll need a valid Security Workers License under the Alberta Security Service and Investigators Act, minimum of five years' locksmith experience, and exceptional skills in communications, organizational, interpersonal, and time management. Proven experience in exercising good judgment under pressure, ability to work independently or collaborate as part of a team, excellent customer service and problem-solving skills, and providing own tools are also essential.
Salary Information
We estimate the salary range for this position to be between $60,000 and $80,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications. This estimate is based on national averages and industry standards for similar positions in the locksmith industry.
