Culinary Team Lead

We are seeking an experienced Culinary Team Lead to join our team at Ontario Inc. The successful candidate will oversee kitchen operations, supervise staff, and maintain a high level of food quality and safety.
Responsibilities:- Kitchen Operations
- Develop and implement menu plans, ensuring timely preparation and presentation of meals.
- Maintain accurate inventory records, ordering supplies as needed, and manage kitchen equipment.
- Staff Supervision
- Schedule and train staff, providing coaching and guidance to ensure excellent service and teamwork.
- Evaluate staff performance, identifying areas for improvement and developing strategies for growth and development.
- Food Safety and Quality
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, implementing procedures to prevent contamination and illness.
- Monitor food quality, taste, and presentation, making adjustments as necessary to meet customer expectations.
- Administrative Tasks
- Manage kitchen budget, maintaining accurate financial records and reports.
- Cooperate with other departments to ensure seamless operational integration.
- 5+ years of experience in a senior culinary role.
- Degree in culinary arts or related field (required).
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
The estimated annual salary for this position is between $55,000 - $65,000 CAD, depending on experience. In addition to a competitive salary, we offer a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision coverage, as well as opportunities for professional growth and development.
