Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Culinary Team Lead to join our team at Ontario Inc. The successful candidate will oversee kitchen operations, supervise staff, and maintain a high level of food quality and safety.

Responsibilities:
  • Kitchen Operations
    • Develop and implement menu plans, ensuring timely preparation and presentation of meals.
    • Maintain accurate inventory records, ordering supplies as needed, and manage kitchen equipment.
  • Staff Supervision
    • Schedule and train staff, providing coaching and guidance to ensure excellent service and teamwork.
    • Evaluate staff performance, identifying areas for improvement and developing strategies for growth and development.
  • Food Safety and Quality
    • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, implementing procedures to prevent contamination and illness.
    • Monitor food quality, taste, and presentation, making adjustments as necessary to meet customer expectations.
  • Administrative Tasks
    • Manage kitchen budget, maintaining accurate financial records and reports.
    • Cooperate with other departments to ensure seamless operational integration.
Requirements:
  • 5+ years of experience in a senior culinary role.
  • Degree in culinary arts or related field (required).
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Compensation:

The estimated annual salary for this position is between $55,000 - $65,000 CAD, depending on experience.
