Concrete Finishing Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Concrete Finishing Specialist to join our team at 3A Renos Inc. As a key member of our construction crew, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality finishes on our concrete projects.
About the Job- This is a permanent, full-time position with a salary range of $60,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience.
- You will work 35 hours per week, with opportunities for overtime and professional development.
- Filling hollows and removing spots on freshly poured cement using hand tools and power equipment.
- Operating power vibrators to compact concrete and achieve the desired finish.
- Leveling top surface concrete according to grade and depth specifications.
- Working at heights, on scaffolding or swing stages, to access and complete tasks safely and efficiently.
- Imparting the desired finish to concrete surfaces using hand and power tools.
- Instructing apprentices and providing guidance and support as needed.
- Installing anchor bolts, steel plates, door sills, and other fixtures to ensure structural integrity.
- Applying hardening and sealing components to cure surfaces and protect against wear and tear.
- Waterproofing, damp proofing, and restoring surfaces to their original condition.
- Repairing, resurfacing, and replacing worn or damaged sections of concrete structures.
- Estimating costs and materials for projects, ensuring efficient use of resources and minimizing waste.
- Operating CADD and other computer software systems to create detailed plans and specifications.
- Reading and interpreting blueprints, maps, drawings, and specifications to understand project requirements and ensure accurate execution.
- This role requires physical stamina, as you will be working in a fast-paced environment, handling heavy loads, and standing for extended periods.
- You must also be able to bend, crouch, and kneel comfortably, as well as have excellent attention to detail and sound discrimination skills.
