Job Title: Food Service Supervisor

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Jay Hanuman Corporation.

Job Summary:

The Food Service Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our food service department, ensuring that all food and service meet quality control standards. This includes supervising and coordinating the activities of staff, training staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures, and preparing budget and cost estimates.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Establish methods to meet work schedules and ensure that food and service meet quality control standards.
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, including training staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures.
  • Estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation and prepare budget and cost estimates.
  • Hire food service staff and maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage.
  • Prepare and submit reports, including food order summaries for the chef.
  • Supervise and check assembly of trays and delivery of food trolleys.
  • Establish work schedules and supervise a team of 5-10 people.
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a food service environment.
  • Excellent oral communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Physical demands include standing for extended periods, bending, crouching, kneeling, and walking.
Work Environment:

The Food Service Supervisor will work in a fast-paced environment with a combination of sitting, standing, and walking. The position requires the ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
