Maintenance Technician

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team at our Simcoe location. The ideal candidate will have experience with electrical and mechanical systems, including troubleshooting and repair of machinery.
Key Responsibilities:- Inspect and troubleshoot machinery to identify issues and develop solutions.
- Perform preventative maintenance on equipment to ensure optimal performance and extend lifespan.
- Assist with other duties as required, including repairs to hydraulic systems, assisting technicians, fabrication, welding, fitting, rigging and hoisting, installations of equipment and removal of equipment.
- 433A Millwright license or 309a/442a license is required.
- Experience with different types of welding and fabricating an asset for millwrights.
- Comfortable with all sorts of hand-held and pneumatic tools.
- Experience with pillars/cappers/bottling.
- Familiarity with the food and packaging industry is an asset but not necessary.
