The Financial Planning Assistant will be part of our Finance team, responsible for processing financial statements, preparing customer forecasts, and managing customer finances.

About the Role:

  • Assist in the preparation and maintenance of files necessary to forecast customer financials
  • Track and present customer revenues and expenses, including labour, freight, and production
  • Manage customer finances, including inventory, accounts receivable, and accounts payable
  • Implement cost accounting methods to close customer profit and loss statements and balance sheets monthly, quarterly, and yearly
  • Daily use of SAP, Microsoft Excel, and Longview for Excel

Requirements:

  • Self-motivated to work and learn
  • Strong analytical skills; ability to process numbers quickly and effectively
  • Interpersonal skills; Ability to communicate effectively with various teams, internal/external to Finance
  • Ability to multi-task and organize workloads to meet tight deadlines
  • Basic knowledge of finance/accounting
  • Understands and can apply corporate accounting policies
  • Knowledge of computer applications such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Google Suite, and multiple business applications

Compensation:

$55,000 - $65,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications
