Job SummaryWe're seeking a Commercial Account Manager to join our team at our Stittsville Branch in Eastern Ontario. As a key member of our billing team, you'll be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, handling client calls, and processing commercial paperwork.
Key Responsibilities- Answer client calls regarding payments and provide assistance to the Commercial Insurance Account Executive
- Control the flow of walk-in customers and callers
- Service Independent Business Unit accounts and provide customers with prompt service
- Process incoming commercial paperwork, assist with quotes, and review existing coverage
- Prepare documentation for insurers, complete applications for new clients, and issue insurance certificates
- Process endorsements, invoices, and follow up on payments
- Communicate with insurance companies, negotiate with underwriters, and follow up with adjusters on claims status
- High school and/or post-secondary education
- 2-5 years' experience in an office environment
- Commercial insurance experience an asset
- RIBO License an asset
- Exposure to Epic is an asset
- Previous sales experience is an asset
- Demonstrated ability to handle multiple priorities successfully
- Strong analytical and organizational skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
