We are seeking a highly motivated and dedicated individual to join our team as a Certified Medical Assistant Apprentice at our Vancouver location. This is an excellent opportunity for those looking to pursue a career in healthcare and gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced clinical setting.
Job DescriptionThe successful candidate will assist our medical providers with patient care, perform various administrative tasks, and participate in ongoing education and training programs. As a Medical Assistant Apprentice, you will have the opportunity to work closely with our experienced staff and develop the skills and knowledge necessary to become a certified Medical Assistant.
Responsibilities- Assist medical providers with patient exams, procedures, and treatments
- Prepare patients for exams, take vital signs, and maintain accurate records
- Perform administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments, answering phones, and processing paperwork
- Participate in ongoing education and training programs to develop clinical and technical skills
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide high-quality patient care
To be considered for this role, applicants must:
- Have a high school diploma or equivalent
- Be at least 18 years old
- Be able to pass a background check and obtain any necessary certifications or licenses
- Have basic computer skills and be proficient in electronic medical records systems
- Be able to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
