About the Role

We are seeking a Product Owner to manage the day-to-day activities of the team responsible for Piknik, our bundle subscription service. The successful candidate will work closely with the product manager to establish short and medium-term roadmaps and execute against those plans.

The ideal candidate will be a skilled technical project manager with 3-5 years of experience working as part of a small to medium-sized team delivering a b2c digital service. They should have real-world experience managing agile software development teams and possess strong analytical skills to quickly dig through and synthesize technical documentation.

Additional requirements include working knowledge of project management and bug tracking software, experience working with b2c software-as-a-service products, and proficiency in using Asana for project management. Previous experience in software QA and/or technical documentation is also an asset.

In this role, you will take pride in spotting bugs in the software used daily and being the go-to person for answers on project details. You will deeply care about delivering great experiences to kids and parents, assess and update estimates and risks associated with delivery, and break down complicated projects to help the team focus on their immediate work.

Key Qualifications and Skills
  • Bachelor's degree or diploma in a related field
  • 3-5 years of experience working as part of a small to medium-sized team delivering a b2c digital service
  • Real-world experience managing agile software development teams
  • Strong analytical skills to quickly dig through and synthesize technical documentation
  • Working knowledge of project management and bug tracking software
  • Experience working with b2c software-as-a-service products
  • Proficiency in using Asana for project management
  • Previous experience in software QA and/or technical documentation
Estimated Salary: $120,000 - $150,000 per year
