About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Executive Chef to lead our kitchen team at Moonga Nori. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for overseeing all culinary operations and ensuring exceptional food quality.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement menus that meet the highest standards of taste, presentation, and nutritional value.
  • Supervise and train kitchen staff, including chefs, cooks, and servers, to ensure seamless service delivery.
  • Maintain high levels of food safety, sanitation, and hygiene in the kitchen and dining areas.
  • Monitor inventory levels and manage supply chain logistics to minimize waste and optimize costs.
  • Collaborate with the restaurant manager to achieve sales targets, improve customer satisfaction, and drive business growth.
Requirements

To succeed as our Executive Chef, you will need:

  • A strong background in professional cooking, preferably with experience in managing large teams and leading culinary operations.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills to motivate staff and build a positive work environment.
  • Knowledge of food preparation techniques, menu engineering, and nutrition science.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize tasks, and work effectively under pressure.
