About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Kitchen Helper to join our team at East Side Mario's. As a Kitchen Helper, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our kitchen, providing exceptional customer service, and maintaining a clean and safe working environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in food preparation, including portioning, wrapping, and plating of food items
  • Prepare and heat simple food items, such as soups and sauces
  • Package take-out food and ensure it is ready for customers
  • Restock refrigerators, salad bars, and other storage areas as needed
  • Keep records of food quantities used and maintain a clean and organized workspace
  • Provide exceptional customer service, including taking orders and serving customers at counters or buffet tables
  • Work effectively in a fast-paced environment, maintaining a positive attitude and adapting to changing circumstances
Requirements
  • No degree, certificate, or diploma required
  • Will train on the job
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and maintain a positive attitude
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for extended periods
