Maintenance Technician

The role involves assisting the Maintenance department with planned, predictive, and reactive maintenance of plant equipment and machinery to ensure plant reliability and performance in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Main Responsibilities:
• Respond to routine breakdown and repair issues
• Perform quality routine machine and plant maintenance to achieve high factory reliability
• Ensure optimum performance through effective and consistent setting of production machines
• Participate in engineering-focused activities in support of manufacturing plant and equipment
• Collaborate with the engineering team and meet engineering standards across the group
• Deliver maintenance KPIs to ensure visibility of maintenance performance and required improvement for the site

• 40 hours weekly

• $55.32 per hour
• Afternoon ($0.75) and midnight ($0.90) shift premiums

Key Skills and Experience:
• You need to come from a mechanical background with a drive to further develop and learn, with a safety-first and resilient attitude to multi-task and effectively execute tasks.
• Your communication skills are key to being successful as you will have to communicate with a number of different internal customers and work as part of a team.
• You will be able to demonstrate a background involving maintenance of a busy production line preferably or maintenance involving both mechanical and electrical machinery.
