Job Title: Department ManagerJob Summary:

This is an exciting opportunity to lead the Women's Contemporary department and shape the ultimate shopping experience for our customers. As a Department Manager, you will be the key leader on the sales floor, guiding daily interactions between employees and customers to embody the high standards of our brand experience.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead & Motivate: Inspire and mentor your team to provide outstanding, personalized service. You will set the tone for excellence and support your associates in achieving their full potential in a fast-paced retail environment.
  • Drive the Customer Experience: Ensure that every customer leaves with a memorable shopping experience. You will coach your team to deliver their signature service, ensuring customers feel valued and cared for at every touchpoint.
  • Merchandising & Visual Impact: Use your creative talent and skills to create brand stories to attract customers and create a vibrant and inviting sales floor. You will ensure that our contemporary collections are beautifully presented and that inventory is well-managed to meet customer demand.
  • Optimize Performance: Partner with senior management to assess departmental performance, set sales goals for the department, and support a team selling environment. Your focus will be on maximizing efficiency and ensuring the department meets business targets.
Requirements:
  • Retail Management Experience: 5+ years of management experience in a fast-paced retail setting, with a proven track record of leading successful and engaged teams.
  • Fashion Expertise: You are passionate about women's contemporary fashion and deeply understand current trends and customer preferences.
  • Customer-Centric Approach: A natural enthusiasm for delivering outstanding customer service and fostering a welcoming, engaging shopping environment.
  • Leadership & Team Development: You have strong coaching and leadership skills and can empower and motivate your team to excel.
  • Customer Service Focus: Experienced and enthusiastic about engaging with customers on the sales floor to provide outstanding service.
  • Varying Hours: Open to a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays, to accommodate operational demands.
