Job Title: Mechatronics Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Mechatronics Engineer to join our team. This role involves designing, developing, and prototyping various equipment and products. As a passionate engineer with similar interests and background, you will be a valuable asset to our team.

The key responsibilities of this position include:

  • Researching and developing electromechanical systems using embedded electronics, analog/mixed-signal electronic circuits, PCBs, motors, actuators, and PLCs to develop robotic products, actuators, testers, sensors, and other commodities.
  • Developing designs for manufacturability with keen attention to details for robustness and quality.
  • Supporting hardware and mechanical bring-ups and debugging using various tools such as meters, oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, VNAs, and prototype machining tools.
  • Deep diving into electrical system-level issues back to root cause and identifying and testing solutions.
  • Testing support, developing procedures, running electromechanical testing, documentation, and test reports.
  • Developing software in PLC, Python, C, C++, LabVIEW, and others.
  • Effectively communicating with vendors and stakeholders.

In order to be successful in this role, the ideal candidate should have:

  • An engineering degree in Electronics, Mechanical Engineering, or Mechatronics Engineering.
  • 0-2 years' experience in hardware, electromechanical engineering, and mechatronics roles.
  • Experience in PCB design, electromechanical components, product assembly, and Design for Manufacturing best practices.
  • Hands-on experience.
  • Schematic and layout design, good understanding of circuit design principles and simulation, advanced PCB and system-level troubleshooting experience.
  • Knowledge of robotics, PLC programming, and HMI.
  • 3D CAD experience with mechanical design expertise.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, big picture thinking skills, and efficient work and project planning skills.
