About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Retail Store Supervisor to join our team at Alice General Store. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for leading and guiding our sales floor staff to achieve exceptional customer service and sales results.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Guidance
    • Assign sales workers to duties and tasks to ensure efficient sales floor operations.
    • Provide guidance and coaching to sales staff to improve their sales and customer service skills.
  • Customer Service
    • Ensure that all customers receive exceptional service and are satisfied with their shopping experience.
    • Address customer complaints and concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Inventory Management
    • Organize and maintain inventory levels to ensure that the sales floor is well-stocked and visually appealing.
    • Monitor inventory levels and report any discrepancies to management.
  • Reporting and Analysis
    • Prepare and submit reports on sales volumes, merchandising, and personnel matters.
    • Analyze sales data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
  • Security and Safety
    • Ensure that all security and safety protocols are followed and enforced.
    • Monitor the sales floor for any potential security or safety risks.
  • Team Management
    • Supervise and co-ordinate the activities of sales staff to ensure that the sales floor is running smoothly.
    • Provide feedback and coaching to sales staff to improve their performance.
Requirements
  • Education
    • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Work Experience
    • 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a retail sales environment.
  • Work Setting
    • Retail business environment.
  • Physical Demands
    • Fast-paced environment.
