Tenure-track Faculty Position in Biochemical Engineering and Biotechnology

Université Laval is seeking applications for a tenure-track appointment at the rank of Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor in the Department of Chemical Engineering. We are looking for a highly qualified candidate with expertise in biochemical engineering and biopharmaceutical production.
Key Responsibilities
- Teach undergraduate and graduate students in biochemical engineering and biotechnology
- Contribute to departmental or institutional committee activities
- Supervise graduate students and develop a research program in biochemical engineering
- Develop and implement intensified processes for biopharmaceutical production
Requirements
- Hold a PhD in chemical engineering or an equivalent field
- Be a member of the Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec (OIQ) or eligible for membership
- Demonstrate an ability to teach and develop university-level research in biochemical engineering
- Show excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Demonstrate the ability to integrate into the university environment
