Vancouver Coastal Health is seeking a skilled Family Medicine Physician with a focus on obstetrics to join our team in Powell River, BC.
This is an exciting opportunity to work in a collaborative, multidisciplinary perinatal service and be part of a new and exciting full-service perinatal program.
As a Primary Care Obstetrician, you will provide full-scope primary obstetrical care and have the option to combine this work with general fee-for-service family practice/hospitalist work in one of the community clinics and in hospital.
We are looking for a candidate with particular interest and skillset in full-scope primary obstetrical care, with experience in obstetrics and a strong commitment to providing high-quality patient care.

Key qualifications include:
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
- Current College of Physicians of BC (CPSBC) License - Provisional
- Canadian College of Family Practitioners (CCFP) Eligible
- Canadian Medical Protective Association (CMPA)
- Obstetric Experience
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PAL)
