Job Description

Desert Oasis Staffing Services is seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Data Entry Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for updating and maintaining accurate information in our customer database.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Input customer information accurately into the database from various sources.
  • Update existing data in the system as required.
  • Extract relevant data from provided data sets.
  • Review data for deficiencies or errors, and correct any incompatibilities.
  • Ensure proper use of office systems to handle and store data securely.
  • Conduct regular backups to ensure data preservation.
  • Collaborate with the IT team to implement improvements in data collection and processing.
  • Maintain confidentiality of information, adhering to data privacy and protection guidelines.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience as a data entry clerk or similar role.
  • Fast typing skills with an eye for detail and familiarity with spreadsheets and online forms.
  • Experience with MS Office and data programs.
  • Familiarity with administrative duties.
  • Excellent knowledge of correct spelling, grammar, and punctuation.
  • Ability to concentrate for lengthy periods and perform accurately with adequate speed.
  • High school diploma; additional computer training or certification will be an asset.
