Kitchen Helper Job Description

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Kitchen Helper to join our team at Castle Hospitality Group Ltd. o/a Ranchers Castle. As a Kitchen Helper, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our kitchen.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Food Preparation: Assist in preparing, heating, and finishing simple food items, including washing, peeling, and cutting vegetables and fruit.
  • Dishroom Duties: Clean and sanitize dishes, glassware, and flatware, as well as operate dishwashers to wash items.
  • Table Setting and Maintenance: Bring clean dishes, flatware, and other items to serving areas and set tables, replenish condiments and supplies, and clear and clean tables, trays, and chairs.
  • Sanitation and Cleaning: Clean and sanitize kitchen areas, including work surfaces, cupboards, storage areas, appliances, and equipment, as well as sweep, mop, wash, and polish floors.
  • Garbage and Trash Removal: Remove kitchen garbage and trash, and sharpen kitchen knives as needed.
Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities:
  • Fast-Paced Environment: Work in a fast-paced environment with repetitive tasks and handling heavy loads.
  • Physical Demands: Be able to work under pressure and meet the physical demands of the job, including standing for long periods and lifting heavy objects.
