At Lactalis Canada, we're seeking a skilled Maintenance Director to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you'll be responsible for providing leadership and guidance to ensure the smooth operation of our manufacturing plant.

About the Opportunity

The Maintenance Director will oversee the maintenance activities of the plant, including planning, coordination, and execution of maintenance tasks. This role requires strong leadership skills, with the ability to manage and motivate a team of technicians and engineers to achieve optimal plant performance.

You'll work closely with production supervisors, maintenance planners, and other stakeholders to optimize maintenance resources utilization, improve health and safety performance, and promote a positive labor-management relationship.

About You

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

  • A college diploma or university degree in a relevant field, or equivalent trade certification
  • Three to five years of experience as a plant maintenance supervisor, preferably in a unionized environment
  • Strong knowledge of process systems, particularly in relation to dairy or food manufacturing facilities
  • Proven leadership, troubleshooting, and team-building skills
  • SAP or CMMS maintenance system skills and experience
